He also requested permission for a greenfield highway between Hyderabad and Amaravati, an expressway from Bharat Future City to Machilipatnam Port via Amaravati, forest clearances for the Mannanur-Srisailam elevated corridor, and sanctioning of a new six-lane highway between Hyderabad and Mancherial.

On Sunday afternoon, Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy laid the foundation stone for Hybrid Annuity Model (HAM) roads in Kanagal, Nalgonda district, with an estimated ₹13,000 crore investment. The initiative aims to reconstruct and upgrade over 13,500 km of road network owned by R&B and Panchayat Raj departments, improving connectivity and economic development across Telangana.
Weaver Presents Matchbox-Fitting Silk Saree to Goddess Bhramaramba
On Tuesday, July 14, Nalla Vijay Kumar, a handloom weaver from Sircilla and recipient of the 'Kalaratna’ award, presented a rare silk saree that fits into a matchbox to Goddess Bhramaramba at Srisailam temple. The saree, woven over one week by Kumar and his family in traditional "Ikkat" pattern, was handed over to Sri Bhramaramba Mallikarjuna Swamy temple Trust Board chairman Pothugunta Ramesh Naidu. Mr. Naidu commended Kumar's talent and highlighted the importance of handloom weaving as a cultural art form.
Telangana ACB nabs engineer with Rs 32.31 lakh in unaccounted cash at home
On Tuesday, Telangana ACB arrested Municipal Assistant Engineer Kallepalli Sathish Kumar for demanding and accepting Rs 2 lakh in bribe from a contractor to process a final bill of Rs 12,28,748 related to infrastructure projects. During the arrest, officials recovered marked currency notes and later found Rs 32.31 lakh in unaccounted cash at his residence. Kumar will be produced before a court in Karimnagar city.
