Erode hikes UGD fees: ₹7,500 for homes, up to ₹15,000 for small businesses
The Erode City Municipal Corporation revised charges for new underground drainage (UGD) connections under the Tamil Nadu Urban Local Bodies Act, 1998, and Erode City Municipal Corporation Building Rules, 2020. Residential buildings with a plinth area up to 500 sq. ft. will pay ₹7,500; charges increase based on size.
