Karnataka bypolls results 2026: Congress retains Bagalkot constituency, faulty EVMs delay counting in Davanagere South

Umesh Meti of the Congress won the Bagalkot Assembly constituency by a margin of 22,332 votes in Karnataka's by-election. The counting of votes for the Davangere South constituency has been delayed due to technical glitches on three EVMs. The results are expected after the completion of the VVPAT tallying process.
