Delhi High Court forms fast-track court for exam leak cases after Modi's promise
The Delhi High Court formed a fast-track court to hear exam paper leak cases after PM Narendra Modi's assurance of swift and stringent punishment. Judicial officer Anu Grover Baliga was appointed as the special CBI judge in Delhi's Rouse Avenue Courts Complex. The new court will try offences under the Public Examinations (Prevention of Unfair Means) Act, 2024, with penalties including up to five years' imprisonment and a fine of Rs 10 lakh. Protesters led by Cockroach Janta Party continue demanding Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan's resignation at Jantar Mantar.
