Rural development suffered a setback during YSRCP’s tenure, alleges TDP MLC

Telugu Desam Party (TDP) MLC Alapati Rajendra Prasad criticized the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP)'s rural development policies, alleging misuse of funds and weakening of village governance. He claimed that the previous YSRCP government diverted funds from schemes like MGNREGS and Jal Jeevan Mission, leading to farmer suicides and a lack of infrastructure in villages. However, the TDP leader also highlighted the coalition government's efforts to address these issues through programs such as 'Palle Panduga'.
