CPI’s Eswaraiah urges Modi to respond to Wangchuk’s strike, sack Pradhan over NEET issues
At a press conference in Vijaywada on Friday, CPI’s Andhra Pradesh State secretary G. Eswaraiah urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to respond to environmentalist Sonam Wangchuk's indefinite hunger strike and demanded the dismissal of Union HRD Minister Dharmendra Pradhan over alleged NEET irregularities affecting 23 lakh students. Mr. Eswaraiah also called for better service conditions for Home Guards, drought relief in Andhra Pradesh, and withdrawal of land acquisition plans for Amaravati.
