Kerala CPI to focus on educating cadre in a bid to strengthen itself organisationally

The Communist Party of India (CPI) has concluded that the Left Democratic Front (LDF)'s poor performance in the 2026 Assembly elections was due to a lack of understanding of public sentiment and miscalculations. The CPI attributes the loss of minority votes, particularly from Christians and Muslims, and a shift in support towards the BJP as key factors. The party is now focusing on strengthening its ideological base through training programs for cadres and organizing a people's march to Delhi to address pressing issues like unemployment and rising prices.
