Unity in diversity: On the INDIA bloc meeting
Twenty-three Opposition parties, including Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge and Leader of the Opposition (Lok Sabha) Rahul Gandhi, met in Delhi on Monday to address concerns about economic distress, inflation, and educational chaos. The bloc resolved to write to the Chief Justice of India regarding electoral fraud, demand the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, call for an all-party meeting to address the economic crisis, agree to hold coordination meetings every two months, and commit to daily parliamentary coordination. The meeting aimed to strengthen institutional framework for Opposition coordination and press the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on governance failures.
