Karnataka minister D Sudhakar passes away

D. Sudhakar, the Minister for Planning and Statistics of Karnataka, passed away on Sunday at a private hospital in Bengaluru after battling a lung infection following a knee operation. He was 66 years old. The government has declared a three-day mourning period and a holiday for schools, colleges, and government establishments on Monday. Prominent leaders across party lines have expressed condolences, including Randeep Singh Surjewala, the AICC general secretary in charge of Karnataka, and Siddaramaiah, the Chief Minister of Karnataka.
