
Bhatti presents welfare oriented 2026-27 budget for Telangana with emphasis on urban and rural development
Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, Deputy Chief Minister of Telangana, presented a welfare-oriented budget for the 2026-27 financial year, allocating significant funds to education, rural development, and urban infrastructure. The budget allocated ₹33,688 crore to the Panchayat Raj and Rural Development department and ₹26,674 crore to the Education department. The Irrigation sector received ₹22,615 crore, while the Municipal Administration and Urban Development department received ₹17,907 crore.
