
SKM to intensify stir to press for key demands
The Samyukt Kisan Morcha (SKM), a coalition of farmers' unions, announced plans for a "Worker-Farmer Parliament" at Jantar Mantar in Delhi on March 9th coinciding with the resumption of Parliament. The SKM resolved to intensify their struggles until the government meets its demands, including the withdrawal of several bills and guarantees for minimum support price (MSP). The coalition will also hold public meetings, meet state leaders, and mobilize farmers across the country through mahapanchayats.
