Rupi Soren, 80, wife of late Shibu Soren dies at Hill View Hospital
Rupi Soren, 80, wife of the late Shibu Soren, died at Hill View Hospital and Research Centre on Wednesday around 8.30 pm. Admitted September 18 with breathing difficulty, she was on ventilator support. Hemant Soren's mother lost her life after receiving the Padma Bhushan for her husband earlier this year. Last rites occur Thursday in Ramgarh district.

JMM Leader Sudivya Kumar Sonu Dies of Heart Attack Days After Tour in Karnataka

He was admitted to a hospital late Saturday night after returning from Karnataka where he led a delegation studying tourism practices. His death left the JMM and state government mourning; Chief Minister Hemant Soren called him an irreplaceable loss.
Student leader starts exam reform yatra, follows 16-day hunger strike
On August 24, Devendra Nath Mahto, a student leader from the Jharkhand Loktantrik Krantikari Morcha (JLKM), launched the Bharti Vyavastha Sudhar Yatra in Nemra village, Ramgarh district, demanding reforms in the exam system.
