Students protest JPSC exam irregularities, demand cancellation and probe
After the Cockroach Janta Party-led protest in Delhi concluded, students in Ranchi have been protesting since July 29 over alleged irregularities and paper leaks in the 14th JPSC Civil Services Exam, demanding cancellation of the exam and a CBI or judicial probe. Led by Devendra Nath Mahto, protesters allege seats were sold for Rs 50 lakh to Rs 1 crore. Chief Minister Hemant Soren offered talks and assured investigations are ongoing.
