BRS leader alleges Congress failed youth, as post-grad attempts suicide over jobs
On Sunday, Puvvada Ajay Kumar, leader of the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS), alleged that the Congress government failed to fulfill its promises to unemployed youth, including issuing a job calendar and paying unemployment allowance. He spoke after visiting G. Venu Kumar, a post-graduate who attempted suicide by consuming poison on Saturday in Khammam. Former MP Nama Nageswara Rao was also present. BRS leaders accused the government of not implementing its 2023 election promises even two-and-a-half years later and urged youth to avoid extreme measures.
