Gandhi demands Shah's ouster over violent student protests, censorship

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi demanded the sacking of Home Minister Amit Shah, alleging either culpability or incompetence in the police crackdown on students protesting alleged NEET paper leaks on July 22. Gandhi claimed protesters were beaten and shot with pellet guns, accusing Delhi Police and RAF of violence. He said his Lok Sabha speech was censored while other ministers spoke freely. Earlier, he wrote to Shah about the use of force but received no response. Criticizing the BJP's image-building exercise, Gandhi also opposed a new Public Examinations Bill, calling it a "punishment tool" rather than an anti-paper leak measure.
