Amaravati farmer’s death highlights government apathy: CPI(M)

Communist Party of India (Marxist) [CPI(M)] members have criticized the Union and State governments following the death of Amaravati farmer Dondapati Rama Rao, who died during a government meeting. Ch. Babu Rao, a CPI(M) State secretariat member, demanded immediate action to address farmers' grievances and halted the second phase of land pooling. He criticized the government for neglecting farmers' concerns despite repeated requests and urged them to fulfill their promises regarding the Amaravati capital project.
