BJP, JD(S) to Jointly Question Congress on Drought and Projects Starting August 13
On Sunday, Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar announced in Bengaluru that the Karnataka Legislature's Monsoon Session will now be held from August 13 instead of August 6 due to delays in State Cabinet expansion. The new session date allows time for newly appointed Ministers to familiarize themselves with their departments before answering questions. BJP State president B.Y. Vijayendra said his party and JD(S) would jointly raise public issues, including drought and infrastructure projects, to hold the Congress government accountable during the session.
