Thackeray brothers back NEET agitators, urge Modi to focus on governance not politics
On Sunday, Uddhav Thackeray, chief of Shiv Sena (UBT), and Raj Thackeray, president of Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS), addressed the Tiranga Vijay Rally at Shivaji Park in support of the youth-led NEET-UG paper leak agitation. Uddhav urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to focus on governance rather than breaking political parties, praising students for forcing Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan's resignation. Raj Thackeray hailed the student movement as a victory over the government. The rally observed a minute’s silence for students who allegedly died by suicide due to the controversy.
