Shiv Sena minister promises security to CJP founder upon his return within 3 days
On Sunday, Sanjay Shirsat, Maharashtra minister and Shiv Sena leader, met the parents of Abhijeet Dipke, founder of the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP), in Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar. Following the CJP’s agitation and Dharmendra Pradhan's resignation as Union education minister, Shirsat promised official security for Dipke upon his return to Maharashtra within two to three days. Shirsat explained that he avoided visiting during protests to prevent politicization of the issue.
