JJD Chief Tej Pratap Yadav Detained During NEET Leak Protests, Demands Education Minister's Resignation
On Saturday, Tej Pratap Yadav, chief of Janshakthi Janta Dal (JJD), was detained by Bihar police while joining NEET paper leak protestors during a Bihar Bandh in Patna. He was taken away from a sit-in protest at Ram Gulam Chowk after declaring his willingness to die for students' rights. Before the detention, Yadav demanded Dharmendra Pradhan's resignation as Union Education Minister and supported left-wing student organizations clashing with police across Bihar. The bandh had mixed responses in different districts.
