Pakistani accounts spread fake AI videos of Modi, Goyal during NEET protests
On Friday, the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal stated they have no information on alleged foreign funding or involvement in protests over NEET paper leaks in New Delhi and other parts of India. The protest, led by Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) founder Abhijeet Dipke and joined by climate activist Sonam Wangchuk, began on June 6 and gained momentum after Wangchuk's indefinite hunger strike ended on July 23 with government assurances. Pakistani propaganda accounts circulated fake AI-generated videos of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Minister Piyush Goyal to mislead the public.
