CJP demands minister's resignation, protests to continue despite government assurances
Ahead of the meeting between Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) and government representatives at Delhi’s Constitutional Club amid protests over paper leaks, CJP spokesperson Saurav Das said Prime Minister Narendra Modi's promise of a new law did not alter their stance. The protest will continue until Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan resigns, compensation is provided to affected families, and cases against protesters are withdrawn. Activist Sonam Wangchuk ended his 26-day hunger strike after government assurances. CJP founder Dipke credited Wangchuk for awakening national conscience but stressed that protests would continue. The meeting with JP Nadda was scheduled for 12:30 pm today.
