Mammootty urges government to protect protesting students at Jantar Mantar
Veteran actor Mammootty called on the government to listen to protesting students' voices and protect them during the CJP-led demonstrations at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi. The protests, which have been ongoing for weeks, demand the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan over the NEET-UG question paper leak earlier this year. Mammootty’s son, actor Dulquer Salmaan, also expressed support on social media, urging for understanding and peaceful resolutions. Other celebrities like Mohanlal's daughter Vismaya and Tovino Thomas have shown solidarity with the demonstrators.
