Sonam Wangchuk, a climate activist, protested against Dharmendra Pradhan, the Union Education Minister, over alleged irregularities in NEET. Two union ministers met Wangchuk at Medanta Hospital after Jitendra Singh met Rahul Gandhi, who was protesting outside Prime Minister’s residence with other Congress leaders and youths across states demanding Pradhan's resignation. The government signaled readiness for debate but refused to succumb to demands for his resignation.
