On Monday, Mumbai Police deployed heavily and barricaded Chaityabhoomi in Dadar to prevent protests against alleged NEET irregularities. Despite this, around 500 students and activists gathered under the banner of MASS, staging multiple small protests before being detained by police at various stations. Organizers claimed about 200 were arrested. Protesters from several student organizations demanded resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan and accountability over NEET issues.
