On Saturday, Anna Hazare urged the government to hold talks with educationist Sonam Wangchuk, who is on an indefinite hunger strike demanding the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmednra Pradhan over NEET paper leaks. Delhi Police forcibly moved Wangchuk to a hospital after 21 days, following health ministry recommendations and a Delhi High Court directive allowing medical intervention. Soon after, Cockroach Janta Party founder Abhijeet Dipke began his own hunger strike at the protest site, alleging police brutality during Wangchuk’s transfer.
