CPI urges Naidu to press Centre for changes in VB–G RAM G Act
A delegation of the Communist Party of India led by K. Ramakrishna met with Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, expressing concern over the implementation of the Viksit Bharat – Guarantee for Rozgar and Ajeevika Mission (Gramin) Act, 2025. The delegation raised concerns about reduced central funding, inadequate guaranteed work days, and the removal of Mahatma Gandhi's name from the legislation. They requested Mr. Naidu to advocate for amendments to benefit rural wage seekers.
