Calcutta HC directs Bengal to frame guidelines for transporting accused persons

The court also requested an action-taken report on existing guidelines and previous actions against such incidents. The bench emphasized that arrests alone wouldn't solve the problem, requiring social awareness campaigns. This follows a series of egg attacks targeting Trinamool leaders, councillors, and former MLAs after the change in government.
