Mamata Banerjee met with Sonia Gandhi in Delhi to discuss coordination among the INDIA bloc parties. The West Bengal CID conducted searches at the Trinamool Congress’s central party office and the office of its national general secretary, Abhishek Banerjee, as part of an investigation into alleged Assembly signature forgery. The TMC leader, Kalyan Banerjee, stated that the party is not worried about rebel MPs joining the NDA and maintains that their strength lies in "Maa, Maati and Maanush".
