The PSPCL apprenticeship linemen union has been protesting outside the headquarters of the power corporations, while thousands of outsourced Sewa Kendra employees are on strike demanding enhanced wages. The Berozgar Sanjha Morcha has also staged a prolonged dharna demanding government job reforms, including an increase in the upper age limit for recruitment and more opportunities. The protests have drawn criticism from the Opposition parties, who accuse the AAP government of failing to fulfill its election promises.
