
Only 8 MLAs, 6 MPs At Mamata Banerjee's Home For Key Meet. Party Clarifies
Only eight Trinamool Congress MLAs attended a National Working Committee meeting at former West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee's Kalighat house in Kolkata, following a rebellion within the party. The party clarified that not all MPs and MLAs were invited, with only four Lok Sabha MPs and two Rajya Sabha MPs present. Abhishek Banerjee, Mamata Banerjee's nephew, was among those who attended. Rebel MLA Ritabrata Banerjee stated that more MLAs will join the rebellion, increasing the number of supporters beyond 2/3rd of the party.
