Humayun Kabir, leader of the Aam Janata Unnayan Party (AJUP), alleged that the ruling Trinamool Congress (TMC) bribed several of his party candidates to keep them out of the West Bengal Elections 2026. Kabir was met with protests from TMC supporters who accused him of being a BJP agent and brandished slogans against him. The Election Commission is investigating allegations of voter intimidation in Domkal, Murshidabad district, where voters reported threats and intimidation by armed individuals.
