Delimitation is the BJP’s tool to divide Bengal and India, says Mamata

She claimed the bill is politically motivated and intended to benefit the BJP by manipulating demographics and potentially merging districts with neighboring states. Banerjee also stated that the delimitation process will be followed by the National Register of Citizens (NRC) and would lead to further voter suppression and displacement.
