Resign as PM if you want to be BJP’s face in West Bengal, CM Mamata tells Modi
Mamata Banerjee, the Chief Minister of West Bengal, criticized Narendra Modi, the Prime Minister of India, for claiming to be the candidate for all 294 seats in the upcoming Assembly elections. She challenged him to resign as Prime Minister and run for office in West Bengal. Amit Shah, the Union Home Minister, countered by stating that Banerjee wants her nephew to become the Chief Minister of West Bengal. He also promised to end illegal immigration within 45 days if the BJP wins the election. The elections will be held in two phases on April 23 and April 29 with counting scheduled for May 4.
