Political slugfest between Congress-BJP in Haryana over crop procurement

Bhupinder Singh Hooda, Leader of the Opposition for the Congress party, visited grain markets in Haryana on Friday (April 10, 2026) to criticize the BJP government's handling of crop procurement. He alleged that the government is imposing unreasonable conditions on farmers to avoid its duty of buying their produce, causing difficulties for farmers, commission agents, and laborers.
