Residents of the Chengalpattu Assembly Constituency in Tamil Nadu have expressed dissatisfaction with the lack of progress on various demands, including the improvement of infrastructure and water supply. They highlight unfulfilled promises regarding check dams for groundwater management, a minimum support price (MSP) for sugarcane farmers, and equitable distribution of Palar River water. The constituency also faces challenges related to traffic congestion, inadequate public transportation, and poor road conditions. E.
