BJP puts up united front as Suvendu Adhikari files nomination for Nandigram
Suvendu Adhikari, former BJP state president, filed his nomination for the upcoming West Bengal Assembly elections on March 30th. He is contesting from Nandigram and Bhawanipur, challenging incumbent Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee. He was accompanied by Dilip Ghosh, former BJP state president, and Union minister Dharmendra Pradhan. The BJP has accused Mamata Banerjee of threatening voters and violating the Model Code of Conduct. A delegation of senior BJP leaders met with the Election Commission to complain about her actions.
