Three petrol shipments expected tomorrow: petroleum minister - Pakistan

Pakistan's Petroleum Minister Ali Pervaiz Malik informed a briefing on Sunday that three petroleum shipments are expected to arrive by tomorrow. The meeting, attended by Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb and Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah, discussed rising global oil prices and fuel reserves amid the Israel-Iran conflict. Malik stated that Pakistan's monthly oil import bill could increase to $600 million, prompting the government to monitor global energy markets and prepare alternative plans to mitigate financial impact. The federal and provincial governments agreed to increase coordination to prevent hoarding at petrol pumps and ensure uninterrupted supply of petroleum products. They also decided to maintain close coordination to manage the energy situation.
