Budget has schemes and projects lined up for North Karnataka

Chief Minister Siddaramaiah announced several initiatives in the Karnataka Budget, including land acquisition for the third phase of the Upper Krishna Project and a new industrial policy. The budget also includes incentives for backward regions to promote industrial development, support for sheep and goat farming, and funding for fish consumption promotion. Additionally, plans were outlined for the construction of new infrastructure projects like hostels for working women and wrestlers, cold storage facilities, and police stations in various districts.
