Budget 2026: Hubballi-Dharwad gets Skill Training Academy, Indira Canteens for students, plug & play LEAP lab
Siddaramaiah, the Chief Minister of Karnataka, proposed a budget that included investments in skill training, entrepreneurship support, and social welfare initiatives. The budget allocated ₹200 crore for a skill training academy, four 'Vidyarthi Indira Canteens', plug-and-play LEAP labs by KEONICs, and e-courts in Hubballi Dharwad. Additionally, the government plans to establish a digital library and study center in Dharwad, along with Bengaluru, and a de-addiction and rehabilitation center for children suffering from drug addiction in collaboration with DIMHANS.
