TVK chief Vijay sees DMK-AIADMK conspiracy to thwart his rise to power

Vijay, founder of the Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK), accused the DMK and AIADMK of conspiring to prevent him from gaining power. He claimed they had a secret agreement to alternate control, stating that their attempts to thwart his rise were due to his entry into politics. Vijay criticized the DMK government for failing to fulfill its 2021 election promises and accused them of supporting the sand mafia at the expense of farmers. He promised a waiver of cooperative crop loans for farmers with landholdings up to five acres, and educational expenses for the wards of farmers owning up to two acres or landless laborers would be borne by the government if his party comes to power.
