Nepali parties promise big ahead of polls; however, concerns remain

Parties like the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) are promising significant economic expansion, while others like the Nepali Congress aim to increase per capita income and create jobs. However, analysts express skepticism about the feasibility of these goals given Nepal's current economic challenges and lack of concrete plans. Tara Nath Dahal, a civic rights activist, argues that the election may not offer lasting solutions to political problems plaguing Nepal, potentially leading to another cycle of coalition fragility.
