AIADMK leader Edappadi K. Palaniswami calls the DMK a ‘slave’ of the Congress

Edappadi K. Palaniswami, general secretary of the AIADMK, accused the DMK of being a "slave" to the Congress and asserted that his party had formed an alliance with like-minded parties to secure more seats in the upcoming election. He claimed that the AIADMK's alliance with the BJP was solely for removing the DMK from power. Palaniswami also criticized the ruling party's handling of inflation during its tenure, and compared prices under his administration to those during the DMK rule.
