T.N. Assembly election: AIADMK’s third round of poll promises offers ₹1,000 to ration cardholders during Pongal

AIADMK, the principal opposition party in Tamil Nadu, announced its third round of poll promises ahead of the upcoming Assembly election. The party pledged to provide ₹1,000 to each ration cardholder as part of a Pongal gift hamper and ₹10,000 to families affected by inflation and tax hikes during the DMK regime. AIADMK also proposed an unemployment dole of ₹2,000 per month for graduates and ₹1,000 for those with higher secondary qualifications. The party further promised increased financial assistance for fishing families and power loom operators.
