Development, welfare programmes continue despite criticism, says CM

Chief Minister Siddaramaiah addressed criticism from the Opposition, stating that his government continues to implement development and welfare programs despite financial constraints. He highlighted spending on five guarantee schemes, including ₹2,954 crore in Uttara Kannada district, while emphasizing ongoing infrastructure projects, health and education initiatives, and livelihood programs. Deputy Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar echoed the commitment to serving the people, regardless of external criticism.
