NTK announces candidates for Assembly polls; Seeman to contest from Karaikudi

Naam Tamilar Katchi (NTK) chief coordinator Seeman announced 234 candidates for the 2026 Assembly election at a conference in Tiruchi. He claimed the party secured over 8.2% of the vote share in previous elections and will continue to contest independently, advocating for a "fundamental transformation" of society free from corruption and caste discrimination. Seeman also criticized national and regional parties for pursuing similar policies on issues like welfare schemes and environmental management.
