Nitish Kumar government announces measures for safety of pedestrians in Bihar

Nitish Kumar, the Chief Minister of Bihar, directed officials to improve road safety for pedestrians by installing barricades, foot over-bridges, underpasses, and zebra crossings in both urban and rural areas. The Transport Department has been tasked with identifying accident-prone zones, constructing pedestrian walkways, and installing CCTV cameras to assess and reduce road accidents. This initiative, part of the 'Saat Nischay-3' program, aims to enhance the ease of living for all citizens by 2030.
