
Gaurav Gogoi threatens to sue Himanta, says CM is ‘trapped’
Gaurav Gogoi, Assam Congress president, threatened to sue Himanta Biswa Sarma, the Chief Minister of Assam, for allegedly sharing private information about his children. Gogoi accused Sarma of making baseless allegations against him and claimed that the Chief Minister sat on a SIT report for six months despite receiving it in September 2025. Gogoi also criticized Sarma's claims regarding his Pakistan visit and questioned why he delayed releasing the SIT report. He further alleged that Sarma was inciting genocide against Muslims through social media videos.
