Ramchander Rao alleges Congress–BRS–Majlis nexus in local body elections

N. Ramchander Rao, Telangana BJP president, accused the Congress, BRS, and Majlis Party of colluding for political gains in upcoming municipal elections, claiming they prioritize vote-bank politics over public issues. He also alleged that the BRS and Congress have led to Telangana's economic decline, citing issues like unpaid fees, delayed salaries, and a lack of government support for farmers. Former Minister Marri Shashidhar Reddy warned minority communities against being misled by certain Muslim Congress leaders, while BJP general secretary N. Gautam Rao, Rajya Sabha MP Rekha Sharma, and party legal cell member R.V. Pavan Maitreya submitted a memorandum to the DGP demanding action against police officials allegedly aiding ruling-party candidates.
