Prantha Raitha Sangha to back February 12 strike
Farmers, workers, and other sections of the working class will participate in an all-India strike on February 12 to protest against policies they deem "anti-farmer" and "anti-worker." H.R. Naveen Kumar, from Karnataka Prantha Raitha Sangha, stated that the Narendra Modi-led Union government has introduced policies detrimental to farmers, while the Siddaramaiah-led State government is accused of acquiring fertile land for development projects instead of granting land titles to cultivators. The strike is being organized by the Samyukta Kisan Morcha.
